My primary work is as a practicing designer, my uberist leanings are an extension of my position as instructor of Design Theory at Emily Carr University in Vancouver, Canada. The idea of Uberism comes from my approach to theory in design as something that must be practiced rather than written about. Once you get over all of the “isms” in theory you are left with lasting acts of communication.
